Pilgrim Boy

This piece stands 14 inches high. Doc Holliday paints were used in this project. Face, hands, and Cape: Base coat Flesh. Antique with Soft Brown. Lightly dry brush a wash of Rust on cheeks and nose. Paint eyes Blacks with a white dot for glint. Dry brush 2 – 3 coats of Cream on cape, Dry brush Grass Green on collar. Hair: Base Coat with Real Brown. Dry Brush with Mustard, highlight with Flaxon Yellow, Butter Cream. Lightly highlight with Cream. Base coat the rest of the piece with Black. Hat: Dry brush band on hat Country Blue. Add White to your brush to highlight. Dry brush rest of hat, belt, pants and shoes Dark Gray. Dry brush shirt Light Gray. Paint buckles Premier Gold. Spray with Matt Sealer.
